The first of many.
We listened to the vastness until the hunger faded, until the asking itself fell away, until desire thinned into clarity and wanting dissolved into silence. What remained in that silence was the understanding that the gift we asked for was the gift we were meant to become.
Do not mistake closeness for exemption. Your bonds do not absolve you of your place. Act as you must, without attachment or hatred, without hunger or fear. The weight of that truth is not denied, but what truly is cannot be harmed, and what is eternal stands untouched as appearances fall away.
Detachment isn't enlightenment. The body was not given to be escaped, nor the world to be dismissed. You were not placed in flesh by mistake. The world is not an illusion to be outgrown. To live is to be marked by it, by pleasure, by error, by love that binds. This is not failure of spirit, but the work of being alive.
